What's included.

  1. 01

    Daily detail and weekly context

Inspect 91 daily closes alongside 13 weekly summaries.

  2. 02

    Dated and recurring events

Maintain expected receipts and payments with calendar-based recurrence.

  3. 03

    Actuals replace forecasts

Record an actual against its expected occurrence to avoid double-counting.

  4. 04

    Reserve-breach dates

See the lowest daily cash and first date below your selected reserve.

  5. 05

    A named scenario

Compare receipt timing and percentage assumptions; retain additional plans with JSON snapshots.

A practical workflow.

  1. 01

    Set the starting cash

Choose the first day, opening cash and minimum reserve. Opening cash is the balance before that day.

  2. 02

    Enter receipts and payments

Use dates and recurrence, then replace specific expected occurrences with actuals.

  3. 03

Compare timing and preserve a plan

Inspect daily lows as well as weekly totals; name the scenario and export a backup before revising assumptions.

A positive ending can hide a cash gap

The fictional example begins with $18,000 and ends with $26,400, yet its lowest daily balance is $5,200 against an $8,000 reserve. The daily view reveals a shortfall that an ending-balance total would miss. The amounts are illustrative planning inputs, not a forecast for your business.

Fictional worked example. Check the assumptions and boundaries against your own records.

REQUIREMENTS

Extract the ZIP and open tool.html in a current desktop browser. No account, installation or runtime internet connection is required. Chromium desktop and mobile viewport layouts were tested; extended data entry is best on desktop. This is a browser app, not an Excel or Google Sheets workbook.

KNOW THE SCOPE

One active named scenario; preserve others with JSON backups. Partial actuals require splitting events. Daily closing balances do not model intraday payment order. No bank connection, accounting integration, tax calculation or currency conversion. Pre-start one-off forecasts are flagged rather than added to opening cash again.
